A Brooklyn Wedding with a Modern, Yet Vintage, Twist

I had the pleasure of making over a friend of mine, Kelly, for her wedding on Saturday. Kelly wasn't your traditional bride. She wanted color on her eyes. When I say color, I mean electric blue. So we tried it out (we did not do this look at her trial) and I immediately gave my professional opinion...I was not letting her walk down the aisle that way. So, I opted for a shimmery raspberry-tone. Not your traditional wedding look, but you know what? It worked!

If you have not heard of Deity in Brooklyn, I highly recommend that you check out this gorgeous, 3-floored venue, with a huge kitchen counter top (which worked out well for our hair & makeup set up) , living area perfect for photos, a pool, and a space for ceremony and reception.
